The city of Antwerp is releasing a new CS:GO map to celebrate PGL Major 2022

The PGL Antwerp Major 2022 will begin two days later at 21:00.^And Since May, the city of Antwerp is ready to host a great CS: GO tournament with all teams, players and spectators.

To celebrate the first CS:GO Major to be held in Benelux (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg), the city of Antwerp has collaborated with the Lucy Agency to create a new map that represents the city as part of the game.

The new CS: GO map is supposedly “Port of Antwerp” Developed by Mapshot in partnership with Elvie Group ApS, it gives everyone a virtual view of the city harbor while players continue to enjoy the game.

The city of Antwerp did something special to celebrate the arrival of the CS:GO Major, which is expected to kick off at 9 PM, the first of its kind.^And up to 22^And May. He commissioned the creation of a custom CS:GO map called “The Port of Antwerp” located in the same city as Antwerp and also hosted an offline launch.

This is a map created specifically for the PGL Antwerp Major 2022. “Based on unique landscapes and other typical elements of the city”, This includes:

• The beautiful skyline the city has to offer.

• Masterpieces by the Flemish artist and diplomat Peter Paul Rubens from South Holland.

• Diamonds because Antwerp has been known as the diamond capital of the world for several centuries.

• Velo, the most used bike sharing service in Antwerp.

• Many other treasures to offer the city of Antwerp.

The map is available for free to all CS:GO players worldwide in the Mapshot.gg workshop on Steam. In addition, the city of Antwerp also announced offline activation today 7^And May at the game stand in Stadsfeestzaal, a shopping mall in Antwerp, Belgium.

Much of the CS: GO community appreciated Antwerp’s efforts to celebrate the arrival of the CS: GO Major in a wonderful way, with the game’s virtual form immortalizing the city for all to enjoy.

Many asked for a map to be included as part of the tournament show, which was honestly a great idea. The tournament will be ready to start in a few days, it will be really cool if the map somehow plays out on the big stage.
