APAC RMR: Eight CS:GO teams qualify for closed regional qualifiers

The IEM Rio Major 2022 Open Qualifiers have begun for all relevant regions of the world. Speaking of the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), due to its wide reach, the organizers have divided the region into four sub-regions: Asia, China, Oceania and the Middle East.

Each of these sub-regions will host two open qualifiers, where a total of four teams will qualify for their respective closed qualifiers.

Finally, one team from each subregion will advance to IEM Road to Rio 2022: APAC RMR (Regional Grand Rankings), where the top two teams will earn Rio Major contender status.

The first open qualifying round for all four sub-regions will end on the 16thAnd In August, two of the four teams qualified for their respective closed regional qualifiers.

The first open qualifiers for all four subregions of the Asia-Pacific region took place in 2015.And up to 16And August. After its conclusion, the first set of eight teams was drawn for the respective closed regional qualifiers.

Team IHC and NKT take the lead in APAC RMR

The second open knockout set, which will determine the eight remaining teams for each of these sub-divisions, has yet to be played. They should start at 10pmAnd up to 23rd Closed qualifiers will be held in August, followed by the 27th.And up to 28And August.

Only one team from each sub-region will advance to IEM Road to Rio 4: APAC RMR, scheduled for 2022.And up to 9And October.
