After a summer without much news, the developer finally has news confirmed the open beta of the game for all eligible players who want to try out the new features they have prepared for this version.

And not only that, but also a new one competitive system where our rating is publicly displayed on a competitive table to find out what position we hold in the global Steam rankings.
They also confirmed that we now have one skill group per cardso that on the cards best given to us we shall have one classification, and on those less learned, another.
Counter-Strike 2 will have 12 round halves and an extra time very similar to that of VALORANT, saying goodbye to the mythical 16 rounds to determine who would win.
How do you qualify for the CS2 open beta?
- Have played CS:GO or played competitively and currently have an available rank
- Have CS:GO Prime, that is, you have purchased it or reached level 21 in the past
If you meet both requirements, check on Steam if opening CS:GO gives you access to the Limited trial of CS2 and enjoy one of the most played open betas.
