Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak – Title Update 2
As is always the case with Monster Hunter, new content flows into the game even after the game is released, and so is the Sunbreak data disc released earlier this year. As with the first such update, the next new content will be free for all players. Three new types of monsters are waiting for us that will be even more dangerous. For example, Violet Mizutsune looks great.

Also, new Tiered Weapon mechanics will be added. We will be able to customize the appearance of our weapons without affecting their stats. Similarly, it has been working with armor for a long time. Capcom also wants to give players a reason to keep returning to Monster Hunter. Every week there will be a new mission in the game where you can get different rewards. All this and a few top extras will arrive on PC and Nintendo Switch on September 29.
Resident Evil
The popular horror series covered a longer portion of Capcom’s presentation. The main one was a fresh take from the DLC Shadows of Rose story, where we will play as Ethan Winters’ daughter, 16 years after the events of the last episode. Introduced Rose’s special ability that allows her to freeze her enemies. The third-person view, which you can play through the base game, has also received an appropriate demonstration after the release of Winter’s Expansion.

However, a reminder has arrived that remakes of The Village and the second and third installments are coming in cloud releases on Nintendo Switch. But more importantly, the remake of Resident Evil 4 is mentioned. Capcom has announced that it will also be released on PlayStation 4, in addition to the previously announced platforms. But gamers on Xbox One don’t stand a chance in this situation. The developers will reveal more about this remake in a separate presentation of the Resident Evil Showcase, which will take place in October. But we don’t know the exact date yet.
street fighter 6
In recent days, the gaming world has mainly resonated with the new Tekken, but now the sixth Street Fighter has once again made a bet. Several fighters have been confirmed in the new trailer, which will not be missing in this episode. These; Blanka, Dhalsim, E. Honda and Ken. 18 more were shown in a separate presentation, but it’s not just about the characters.
The demo also includes a convenient presentation of the World Tour, Fighting Ground and Battle Hub modes. We will create our own fighter in them and fight and train with familiar faces of the series on the streets of the city. Ryu and Chun-Li will not be lost. You will meet other players in the Battle Hub. This way you will be able to play some old episodes of Street Fighter.

Overwatch 2
The new Overwatch, which will run on a free-to-play model, has already been released and debuted at the Tokyo Game Show. The most notable of these was the introduction of new support hero Kiriko. But soon after, Blizzard also released a report on how monetizing the game and unlocking new heroes will work. Like many existing free games, Overwatch 2 will run on a seasonal model. New content is scheduled to arrive in the game every 9 weeks.
The developers promise big news and at least one hero or map each season. Of course, each will include a free-for-all battle pass along with cosmetic accessories, but there’s also a paid premium version. The loot boxes from the first part will disappear and will be replaced by a shop where we can buy exactly what we want for premium currency. The first season is supposed to stick to cyberpunk thematically. The aforementioned store also has a Just for You section where each player will get different offers depending on their preferences.
We’re a little surprised that the new heroes will also be part of the battle pass. In the variant they were always supposed to be free, but in the specific example in the report, players will get Kiriko to level 55, which means quite a bit of grind. Anyone who logs into the game in the first season immediately gets Junker Queen and Sojourn as new heroes. And if you have the original Overwatch, Kiriko will be ready for you right away.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
News from the creators of Nioh was supposed to be another hardcore RPG, this time going to ancient China. We will experience a slightly different version of the stories of the Three Kingdoms and fight new demons. The main character this time will be more flexible than we are used to from previous games of the Team Ninja studio. After all, you can see for yourself. A demo has been released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X, which you can try for free until September 26.
The developers also prepared an interview at the Tokyo Game Show. Wo Long is built on Chinese martial arts, and a significant part of it is the dark underworld that we will try to defeat. As in Nioh 2, this time we will create the image of the main character ourselves. In terms of gameplay, they mainly focused on the fluidity and dynamics of the fights. This time, the possibilities we can use are more than ever.
unholy
In one of the presentations, Unholy game being prepared by Duality Games studio was mentioned. We will try to find our child in a dark, tainted world that is the exact opposite of everyday reality. The inhabitants of this world are not very pleased with you walking around in their dwellings. We have the option of confronting them or trying to sneak in undetected. Emotions are your weapons in Unholy. Anger, fear, sadness and desire will help you overcome not only monstrous monsters, but also puzzles.
Suikoden I and II Remaster
We’ve been waiting for Metal Gear or Castlevania since Konami’s announcement. But instead, a couple of their successful JRPGs will return in enhanced form. The first two episodes of Suikoden were originally aired in the second half of the nineties, so they deserve to be dusted off. The remasters will be released as a complete package next year. Backgrounds, effects and sounds will be enhanced based on the original. New functions such as autosave or speeding up battles will be added. The screenplay and English localization, which were not entirely successful in the originals, should also receive corrections.
