Players will now earn Mastery Points for each role they play:

  • There are five different levels for each role.

  • Each level will have a different color icon.

  • The score will appear on the player’s profile page.

  • Hovering over a player’s profile also shows their first three champions in that role.

Guild vs Guild (GvG) update.

Added new features to the GvG system;

  • Guilds will remain in the game until GvG disappears.

  • The trophy track will remain as it was before, with some goodies as well as some new ones.

  • The trophy path and quests have now been simplified so players can join the game with their friends and earn rewards while doing so.

  • The guild and trophy track will still have seasons and a theme.

  • Before the end of the GvG, there will be a small event to celebrate everyone who participated and gave feedback to the developers.

  • From September 16 to October 1, guild members can receive a one-time reward.

  • If a player is not currently in a guild, he or she will also be eligible for rewards as long as they join the guild before October 1st.

GvG Season 4 begins on September 16 at 12:01 UTC.

Quality of life updates

ping system

A new optional system will be introduced and new kill banner support icons will be added to help players understand who is involved in the battle.

Installing system updates

Players will now receive more item slots when crafting their special gear. In the game, players will be able to see their cargo in the shop and see the order in which they have placed the items. They can also edit any item during upload if needed.

Wild Pass Rewards

A new set of Wild Pass rewards will be added to the game featuring superhero Jace. The upgraded version will also be available in the Wild Pass Emporium.

  • The Bonus Rewards section is now the Wild Pass Emporium.

  • Players will no longer progress linearly from level 51 to level 75, but instead an exchange where players can claim rewards in any order they choose.

  • Wild Pass Skin Upgrades are here now and will be granted if players claim enough rewards in the Emporium.

  • Added a simple set of repeatable quests to play matches.

  • There will be a limit and reset every week, which will give players an incentive to constantly log in and play the games.

  • Elite Pass buyers will receive Seasonal Missions so players can claim all the rewards they want in the new Emporium!

  • Purchasing the Elite Pass will now grant a new chest for role selection at level 1.

  • Instead of getting a random skin, players can limit their choice to a single lane role: solo, mid-tier, jungle, duo, or support!

Duel

For a limited time, players can queue up for a new game mode featuring 1v1 matches against random players on the Howling Abyss map. Several rules will be applied in the new game mode.

The winner will be announced under the following conditions:

  • Kill an enemy champion 2 times before the reduced circle appears.

  • Kill an enemy champion 1 time after the reduced circle appears.

  • Destroy the first enemy tower.

There will be a shrinking circle when the game takes too long to complete:

  • Appears after 8 minutes of play

  • The first radius of the reduced circle covers the entire map. It will wait 30 seconds, then it will start compressing.

  • The circle shrinks in 9 minutes and 30 seconds and has a final radius of 5 meters.

  • If you are outside the circle, there will be permanent damage.

  • When the shrinking circle appears, the champion’s next death interrupts the game for the killer’s victory.

The battlefield has also been adjusted to add more challenges:

  • All champions are unlocked in Roaring Abyss

  • Reduced Omnivamp by 50% against minions

  • Remembering the fountain will allow you to purchase items.

  • Each player will start with 500 gr.

  • Increased gold production and experience

The duel will run from September 16 at 00:01 (UTC) to September 19 at 23:59 (UTC).

ARAM changes

Players can now purchase more Scrolls after using Poro Energy for free;

  • Free spins are loaded as usual and as usual hold a maximum of two ARAM spins.

  • After you have used all your free spins, you will be given the option to purchase additional spins with Poro Energy.

  • You cannot use more than 2 replays (free and extras included) per game and you must use the free one first.

  • This means that if you entered the lobby with 2 free spins, you cannot buy any more for this game.

  • Additional transfer purchases are limited to 3 per day.

  • They are rebuilding every day.

  • The first scroll you buy will cost 50 Poro Energy, the second 100 Poro Energy, and the third 200 Poro Energy.

  • You cannot save extra spins.

  • Extra Strike is the same as Free Strike – allies still pick champions.

ARAM headers have also been updated;

  • ARAM warrior

  • ARAM warrior

  • ARAM Elite

  • ARAM copyright

  • ARAM legend

In the first phase of the Wild Rift Patch 3.4 update, a lot of exciting new content has been released. However, the surprises don’t end there, as Riot Games previously announced an anniversary event that will take place in October.
