EA Sports has shared the ranking of the strongest female players in FIFA 23, the football simulation coming out next week. This new chapter will integrate women’s football clubs for the first time, as well as the usual selection of national teams. In particular, there will be the WSL and the women’s D1 and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia / New Zealand 2023 (as a post-launch update). However, the evaluations reveal a particularly significant fact in the perennial comparison between women’s and men’s football.

FIFA 23, the best player ever is… –

From the list of the 25 strongest players on FIFA 23 comes confirmation that Putellas – phenom of the Spanish national women’s team – will be the only player to make the overall standings of 92 in the entire EA Sports title. This also takes into account men’s football, where the maximum score – divided among five players, namely Benzema, Lewandowski, Messi, De Bruyne and Mbappé – is “only” 91.

No Italy –

Not an Italian in the top 25, predictably, and it should be noted that the testimonial of the game Sam Kerr – the first woman to land on a cover of the series, in detail on the Ultimate Edition which comes out on September 27 – is not until the second place is on par with Renard and Hegerberg. This year, Barclays FA Women’s Super League and Division 1 Arkema (which explains the near-total dominance of these two leagues) will be in the game, “with some interesting additional updates in the coming months,” EA Sports explain. In addition, HyperMotion2 offers dual data acquisition to unlock new features including female gameplay. The Dedicated Advanced 11v11 Match Capture system was used to film a high-intensity 11v11 women’s match, with in-game animations making the players’ movements more realistic than ever.
