Gran Turismo 7 introduces a long-awaited feature in Update 1.26. The update, which falls during the week of the motorsport series’ 25th anniversary celebrations, will allow you to sell your cars in the campaign. The feature was highly requested by enthusiasts, especially in light of the rather punitive internal economy in terms of rewards and demanding purchases.
Gran Turismo 7, here’s the announcement –
The PlayStation Blog has today received the announcement of the 1.26 update to Gran Turismo 7, which will be available tomorrow, Thursday, November 24, at 07:00 GMT. As explained by the developers, “players will be able to sell cars from their personal garage,” months after the reveal of this in-game feature. The only requirement, besides downloading and installing the patch, is the completion of all Café menus, so the functionality is clearly provided as part of the endgame package and not as a possibility during the actual campaign, i.e. its first run. This is bound to spark some debate, although it’s likely that players who applied for the feature in the past have already more than met this requirement by now.
Update 1.26 —
However, update 1.26 is not limited to this: the update also introduces three cars, namely the BMW M2 Competition ’18, the Ford Sierra RS 500 Cosworth ’87 and the Nissan Silvia K’s Aero (S14) ’96. In addition, there is also a new circuit, the Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, with a length of 4,088 km, a height difference of 38 meters, a total of 12 turns and the longest straight of 1275 meters. Finally, two panoramas, “Illuminations” and “Road Atlanta”, have also been added. The update is, as usual, free and further expands the content offering of Gran Turismo 7, which arrived in stores at the beginning of the year with a rather weak proposal in terms of volume.
