That goes for the Mimimi studio behind the Shadow Tactics series or the third Desperados as well. Their new release is Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, which will be a tactical stealth strategy with zombie pirates.
We’re looking at an alternate version of the golden age of pirates. We will sail in the Caribbean Sea on Red Marley. But our crew will not be ordinary pirates. Each of them is cursed, and as a result they have acquired supernatural abilities that will come in handy when fighting the Inquisition or searching for treasure.
Like the previous work, Shadow Gambit is a top-down tactical strategy. As you play, you will be free to navigate to the next island or whatever quest you are currently planning to complete. However, you can only recruit a few crew members at a time, so you should choose based on what abilities you need.
The developers say they plan to let the imagination run wild this time around. This placement allows them to experiment more. Playing games will make the news more enjoyable as an opportunity to pause time and plan various actions in advance. In the trailer, they explain the basics of how their new product will work. Shadow Gambit will be released for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S|X later this year.
