Perish, co-op FPS announced in 2021, arrives on PC on February 2

Announced in May 2021, Perish launches on PC next Thursday (2). Developed by indie studio ITEM42 and published by Handy Games, the game is a cooperative FPS packed with heavy metal soundtrack.

As the trailer shows, Perish relies on firearms and melee combat to take on “hordes of creatures on the scorching sands of Purgatory.” As Amyetri, “a corporeal spirit condemned to exist in the shadows among the damned within the realm of Purgatory”, the player must undergo rituals and defeat “chthonic deities” to reach Elysium.

Dead Island 2 will feature a card-based skill system

Despite offering a single player campaign, Perish can be played with up to three friends. The game promises to offer challenging combat against hordes of common enemies, as well as bosses.
