During its presentation last night (9), Capcom revealed that Exoprimal, its new dinosaur-themed multiplayer shooter IP arrives on July 14 for both current generations of consoles, plus Game Pass. Before that, Still in March, the game will have an open beta with cross-platform matches.
The open beta will take place between March 17 and 19. for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One with pairing between these platforms. Exoprimal is already available for pre-order on Steam, with a cost of BRL 249 in its base version and BRL 299 in the Deluxe version.
Not having a single player campaign, Exoprimal pits players against each other in online matches against hordes of different dinosaurs. There are different classes of exosuits with offensive, tank, and support roles. Each suit can be upgraded to increase its combat capabilities.
The year is 2040… Sudden invasions by dinosaurs have plunged the world into a crisis that threatens the very existence of humanity. But not all hope is lost. The Aibius corporation has developed an extremely advanced AI called Leviathan that can predict the location of upcoming invasions. This technology, combined with Aibius’s revolutionary powered suits, also called exosuits, gives humanity the chance to stop the hordes of dinosaurs. There has been a huge demand for exosuit pilots, also known as exo-fighters. Take the veteran aptitude test and join the heroic pilots of Aibius in the fight to prevent the extinction of the human race.
Dinosaurs are divided into two groups. The first of them has several traditional species already known. The second group is made up of the Neossaurus, which are “mutated dinosaurs that have unusual appearance and abilities.” Matches take place in six different game modes.
