As the Wccftech portal pointed out, shortly after the release of Bleak Faith: Forsaken, they were suspected of stealing material (particularly animations) from Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, and other FromSoftware projects.
Obvious parallels can be seen through the Dark Souls Animation Studio tool created by modder Meowmaritus. According to him wordsBlack Faith: Abandoned “100% uses animations cut straight from Elden Ring one by one”.
In response, the developers admitted that they purchased some of the game’s content from the Epic Marketplace. Said animations were purchased from PersiaNinja – the studio expected Epic to check their vendors’ products before publishing.
Archangel Studios has already contacted Epic Games to clarify the situation and announced the start of work “Resolving problems”. Apparently, the team will prepare alternative animations with their own hands.

According to the developers, they outsourced about 10% of the game (some animations, visual and sound effects), while in major studios it is 70%. Do not shy away from this practice, note in Archangel and FromSoftware.
Bleak Faith: Forsaken is available on PC (Steam, GOG). In addition to accusations of stealing animations, the game’s launch was marred by numerous technical issues that Archangel Studios is now actively trying to fix.
