Ahead of the launch of the Resident Evil 4 remake, Brazilian animator Cara Aleatorio tried to envision what the introduction of Capcom’s iconic action game would look like in a digital LEGO format.

Unlike the upcoming official rethink of Resident Evil 4, Aleatorio’s remade segment comes as close to the original game as possible. Adjusted for the fact that everything in it is made of LEGO blocks.
All the key elements of the gameplay and staging are on location (down to a few missed shots in an attempt to shoot down the crows) and spiced up with a pinch of LEGO humor, and all the sounds are straight out of Resident Evil 4.
According to Aleatorio, it took him a few months to create the video in Blender’s graphics editor with the Mecabrics add-on: digital figures resemble real children’s toys as closely as possible with minor scratches and scuffs.
Viewers in the comments praised Aleatorio for the work done and the attention to detail, such as the behavior of the camera when aiming, or a slight delay between the transition from gameplay to the cutscene.
In addition, users have expressed a desire to see the continuation of the LEGO version of Resident Evil 4 from Aleatorio, and some have gone even further. “I want this game more than a remake”— allowed gnome production.
The mentioned Resident Evil 4 remake will be released on March 24 on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Another blogger previously showed a fixed camera that reinvents from the first parts of the series.
