Like every Thursday, the new free games on the Epic Games Store for PC were released today, reserved for store users each week. After last week, it is once again the turn of a single game, which – as is tradition – will be closely followed by other titles revealed at 5:00 p.m., close behind. So let’s see what awaits fans this week and next Thursday.
Free today on the Epic Games Store –
Free games unlocked today can be claimed for an entire week and until next Thursday at 5pm CEST, but once redeemed here they will remain in your libraries on the Epic Games Store client.
Here are the titles you can redeem starting today (and from this page):
- Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Remnants of War
After Call of the Sea, “an otherworldly story of mystery and love, set in the South Pacific of the 1930s”, it is now Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War. “Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War is the first 4X turn-based strategy game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Four factions will face each other in a brutal war for control of the planet’s resources,” the game description reads.
From March 23 to 30 —
From March 23 to March 30, it’s the turn of Chess Ultra and World of Warships – Starter Pack: Ishizuchi. The first is “the most exciting game of chess ever seen. Stunning 4K visuals, seamless online multiplayer sessions, AI approved by grandmasters and full compatibility with virtual reality devices,” the description reads. The second, instead, is a package of 19.30 euros – led by the Japanese Tier IV battleship – facilitating access to the naval F2P.
Free games aren’t just for PC —
Epic Games Store is only on PC, so those playing on PlayStation or Xbox consoles might feel a bit left out of the initiative. In addition to Prime Gaming, always intended for PC and reserved for Amazon Prime subscribers, it must be said that you can still enjoy the latest March additions on PlayStation Plus Essential for PS4 and PS5, and on Game Pass for PC, cloud platforms (from smartphones and tablets) and Xbox consoles of the last two generations. The essential difference from Epic is that while this giveaway is completely free, the others require you to sign up for a subscription service with a monthly fee.

I have been working in eSports Chimp for almost 5 years now. I have written different types of articles but I mostly focus on gaming news. It has always been my dream to work in eSports Chimp and I am grateful that I am able to do so.
I grew up playing video games and it has always been one of my passions. When I was younger, I never thought that I would be able to make a career out of it. But now, I am able to write about games and share my passion with others through my work.
I believe that there is a lot of potential in the world of eSports and I am excited to see how it grows in the future.
