When you first see the Puppet of the Future in Lies of P, you might be intimidated by its size, but it’s a lot simpler than it sounds.
Preparing for a fight is another matter, as it can be quite difficult to figure out how to get there without succumbing to Decay. If you are struggling with this problem, don’t worry, we will take care of it.
Here’s everything you need to know to defeat the Puppet of the Future in Lies of P, right after fighting the Furious Donkey.
Puppet of the Future | Lies from P —
You have probably already seen the great Puppet of the Future walking through the Vegnini factory, but he is immersed in a pool of water that causes decay: you will have to eliminate him before facing him, otherwise you will have a lot of trouble. You can run past the doll and reach the chest to grab the explosive pickaxe before the decay occurs, but if you defeat him you’ll be rewarded with some extra goodies.
From the Stargazer in the Vegnini Factory control room, return to the Red Fox and enter the door on the right. Turn left until you see some red pipes, containing some rather annoying dolls falling from the ceiling. You need to take them all out using the Electric Spiral Staff, because you’ll be right back.
Once in the pipes, turn left and you will see a flashing red light at the end of a hallway. Quickly go down and unlock the shortcut on the left. Quite an angry, fiery puppet will come out with a kicking ass here, and he’s a tough nut to crack. You can use the shortcut to run in a circle to where it spawned: here is a lever that will drain the water under the Puppet of the Future. The doll with the shovel will continue to chase you, so take cover immediately.
Then you can go down to the area where the Puppet of the Future is located. Defeating him is actually the easy part, as he has a very long loading time for each attack. Use an Electric Assault Container again to deal massive damage, attacking right at his feet. But be careful with his shots because depending on your level he will probably one shot you. However, this might be one of the easiest boss fights in the game, as long as you clear the puddle at his feet first.
