Warner Bros. Games Montreal Reveals More Gotham City Details

The developers recently released a long video that provides more details about Gotham City and how it was envisioned in Gotham Knights. The video shows how the founding families: Wayne, Elliot, Kane, Arkham, and Cobblepot influenced the formation of the town over the years.

Gotham will be huge, with neighborhoods ruled by different traditional villains from the Batman stories. In the video we can see Robin walking through different places and it is possible to see the verticality of the buildings. The city imagined in Gotham Knights will not only have taller buildings, but also a large underground portion to explore, a great first for games in the bat universe.

However, from the video itself we can see an important detail, which generates some doubts and concerns. THE Gotham City seems too empty. In the video, we see no cars, no NPCs, Gotham looks abandoned and completely lifeless. With the development of the game finished, we can only hope that the end result will be a good game, worthy of the Arkham series. Gotham Knights will be released on October 25 for Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
