The company behind the launch of Madden NFL, the world’s leading American football game, Electronic Arts has confirmed that a college football game will be released in the North American summer of 2024. This means that fans of the oval ball can expect a new title to be available in about two years.
Players can expect Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory to be present in the new game aimed at young players in the sport.
The information came from Daryl Holt, vice president of Electronic Arts, to ESPN. According to him, the delay in the arrival of a College Football game, the name given to the North American university league, is due to the fact that the company needs to build a completely new title from scratch. According to him, the publisher is trying to “build an immersive college football experience.”
Already known for Madden NFL, Electronic Arts wants to make sure the new game isn’t a copycat of the company’s core franchise. Holt said they are taking care to ensure that the game of college football is something “unique.” This was the first time EA had given a release window for the college football-oriented title.
Familiar modes return in the new game.
Older gamers may remember NCAA Football 2014. The Electronic Arts game was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It provided a chance for American football lovers to play with college teams. However, it was the last of its kind released by EA, making the new release highly anticipated among gamers.
Speaking openly about the new college football game, Holt highlighted that the new title will feature modes that were successful in previous versions. As such, players can expect Dynasty Mode and Road to Glory to be present in the new game aimed at young players in the sport.
