Dead Island 2 launch trailer promises a visit to hell

Deep Silver launched this Monday (17) the Official Dead Island 2 Launch Trailer, which provides an overview of what players will find next. In it we can see the first moments of the plot, as well as several of the supernatural threats offered by the adventure set in Los Angeles.

Developed by Dumbuster Studios, the game puts players in the role of six survivors who discover that they are immune to the disease that is turning others into zombies. That doesn’t make them resistant to undead bites, though, so you’ll need to use a host of weapons and special abilities to fight the creatures.

Massacre reanimated muscle-bound beach hunks, fashion celebrities, and beach bums in gruesome style with a variety of weapons. Whether you slash them with knives, chop them up with an electrified axe, or turn them into Swiss cheese with an assault rifle, Dead Island 2’s gory action is a bloody sight to behold.”, promise to developer.

Dead Island 2 hits stores next Friday

One of the great differentials of Dead Island 2 promises to be therealistic way of how each zombie reacts to hits made by the player. With every slash, sledgehammer, or kick, the creatures drop some of their parts and realistically rip their skin off, making it all quite gory and violent.

The title also bets on a system of abilities based on cards that can be exchanged quite freely. With them, the player will be able to further explore the strengths of each of the protagoniststurning them into authentic zombie extermination machines through the streets of Los Angeles.

Dead Island 2 officially hits stores next Friday (21) with confirmed versions for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, through the Epic Games Store. According to the developer, those playing on PC or current generation consoles will benefit from more detailed visuals and performance locked to 60 frames per second.
