Patch Notes 7.04: Huge changes to operators and new Sunset Map

Many VALORANT players who have been following the competition this year will have seen the VCT Champions, the biggest tournament of the year where Evil Geniuses have been named champions of the planet.

But the action doesn’t stop, as Riot keeps updating the game and what’s out there isn’t worth that much anymore.

The version 7.04 of the game is already there and very important changes have been confirmed, such as the adjustments to Breeze or the arrival of the new map Sunsetwhich is already available in the game.

REPORTS UI IMPROVEMENTS

  • Clarity has been improved by adding icons that display detailed descriptions when you hover over them.
  • The list of reports that can be sent after the game has been divided into groups to facilitate decision making using categories and subcategories.
  • Reporter information has been added to reduce false reports.

PREMIER UPDATES

  • If you played during the Premier ignition phase, you will not lose your team and match history.
  • The registration period runs until September 7. The exact time when registration closes varies by area. Check the schedule in the client for more information and to be on time.
  • Weekly matches will be played across the full roster of competitive maps for seven weeks. Each week will still have a specific map and up to two games per week on that map. The matches will start on September 7, last until October 21 and the knockout tournament will be held on October 22.
  • Achieve a Premier Score of at least 675 to qualify for a chance to be one of the best teams in your division.
  • Performance is now tracked from stage to stage. At the end of each stage you will receive a league emblem.
  • The divisions are divided into five levels: Open, Intermediate, Advanced, Elite and Contender.
