TO Bethesda revealed today that the game Ghostwire: Tokyo launches on Xbox Series S|X on April 12 of this year, and on launch day it will hit PC and Xbox Game Pass. The game features a supernatural story starring Akito and KK and set in a fictional Tokyo. It was developed by the studio tango games and originally released in the first half of 2022 for PS5 and PC.
The announcement of the game’s arrival on Xbox and Game Pass also informs the release of the free update “Spider’s Thread”. It will also be released on April 12 and will be available for all platforms. The highlight of the update is the “Spider’s Thread” mode, which consists of a challenge where the player will face 30 stages in order to complete it.
Tango Gameworks has developed 120 different levels that will appear in the new mode, offering rewards as players progress through the levels, including in-game currency and special character abilities. Check out the Spider’s Thread update reveal trailer below.

The main story mode will feature new features including new areas to explore, with new challenges and mysteries for players to help save the city of Tokyo. The update will include “extended cutscenes” during the game, which will further detail the events during the adventure.
New abilities and enemies are also confirmed, which enriches the gameplay and allows for new combos and strategies during battles.
