The Resident Evil 4 remake arrives next Thursday (23), but reviews have already been posted all over the world (including ours). Metacritic already has enough reviews to ranking Capcom’s new game as the second best release of 2023 so far, behind Metroid Prime Remaster.
The PC (8 reviews) and PlayStation 5 (88 reviews) versions of Resident Evil 4 have 93 averages and 91 on Xbox Series X (17 reviews).. Remembering that the game is also available for PS4, but the studios have not sent keys for their games for the previous generation of consoles for a long time.
Resident Evil 4 already accumulates 34 maximum notes and more than 60 reviews in the 90s (remembering that this may change with more published reviews). I’ve been posting this kind of news around here for a while and I don’t remember so many numbers as high as that.

TheGamer, one of the sites that gave it full marks, said: “I had a lot of fun during my 20 hours of intense gameplay and immediately started a New Game+ in professional mode to see how well I could put the lessons learned into practice. The game It exceeded my high expectations and represents Capcom’s best work on the series. Normally I would find time to point out a few minor annoyances or poorly done sections, but I don’t think the games get any better than this.”
“Resident Evil 4 Remake questions whether you can perfect what many already consider to be perfect. While competent on the basics, Capcom’s new remake has the weakest creative energy among remakes in the series, leaving you wanting a lot.” more”, said the review of DualShockers, which is one of the sites that has given the lowest score so far (70).
In our review, Diego Kerber said that “Capcom was able to weigh well what to keep from the source material and what to renew” and indicates the purchase of Resident Evil 4.
